Neuschwanstein Castle tour times

Hi,

I tried to reserve tickets online for the tour, but I can't find the tour times. It simply asks you for desired tour time. Are there preset English language tour times? Will I have any problems buying the tickets on spot (this tuesday)?

You're better off ordering online in advance - that way your time is reserved. If you hit the ticket office on the day, you may need to wait around until the next available tour.

Tours start every 5 minutes and are available until they fill up. If you order in advance you're very likely to get the time you want (or within 15 minutes of it). If you wait until the day you'll need to get in line and buy at the ticket window: the earlier in the day you go the more slots will be available. I've always been at non-peak seasons so I don't know how bad the line gets for tickets, but they do have a lot of switchback stanchion in the queue area so I'd book online if you want a specific time.

Navigate to order tickets at the top left menu. Pretty spartan order form.

Def. buy online. It's not worth the risk buying when you get there. I would also rec an early AM tour. It's less crowded plus gives you more time to wander around the rest of the grounds like Mary's Bridge. If you have a Visa Sig., AMEX plat, or other CC w/ similar concierge feature you can get them to buy the tix for you. That is what I did last time I went b/c I wasn't too confident w/ the web site and figured they make sure everything was correct.
