2003/325i - Lot of smoke while braking but not all the time
Hi All,
Its been happening for last 2 days surprisingly exactly same time (6pm). I was driving my car then suddenly traffic started slowing down so i started applying the brake, at that time i saw lot of smoke from my exhaust. It was not fully white at the same time not fully black mix of both, but lot of smoke the car behind me had to change the line to get visibility that much of smoke for i would say about 5-6 seconds. I kept driving slowly then smoke is gone. No light cam up. The smoke is not always there only for the last 2 days around that time 6pm. One of my friend mechanic is saying he saw this problem with some other car and the problem was due to "Crankcase valve diaphragm leaking" Any idea? |

You could have oil dripping onto your manifolds. Take a flashlight around your engine bay and look for leaks. Sounds like you'll need to see a mechanic (doesn't seem like you're a DIYer)
