2008 E63 - Panic button
Hi Guys,
I understand for cars in the US that the panic button is set off by holding the trunk button down for a few secs. Can anyone confirm whether this is while the car is locked or unlocked? Thanks,

Just tested this, and I suspected it does not depend on whether the car is locked or unlocked. Holding in the Trunk Open button on the remote for 2 seconds sounds the alarm. Come to think of it, it would be crazy if it did depend on whether the car was locked or not. In an emergency one does not want to lock/unlock first before sounding alarm
