E82 / E88 1 Series (2008 - 2013)
BMWs throw back to the iconic 2002, with a renewed form and function. The smallest car in BMW's line up but still packs a punch. Available in coupe or convertible, powered by either an inline 6 in the 128 or the twin turbo rocket sled 135.

2011 128i

Hey everyone,

I did ED and PCD of a '11 space gray/coral red/gray poplar 128i recently, and figured I should introduce myself. A couple of upside down phone pictures of the car are attached. Both PCD and ED were awesome - the driving exercises in the 135i at the PCD were definitely the highlight; the hot lap in the M5 with Andy was a close second. We also spent 5 days in the German and Austrian Alps in early April, which was pretty decent. I should mention that, before we went to Germany, I spent a ton of time reading the ED wiki, which was a fantastic resource for planning our trip to Europe.

We worked with Greg Poland at Pacific BMW, and I'm happy to add to the mountain of positive reviews he's received on this board. Greg did what he promised as far as price and options, and set up the ED and PCD absolutely seamlessly. I'd recommend him to anyone who's thinking of going the way we did.

The car itself is ridiculously fun. This is my first rear-drive car and, the way it tracks around bends, I realize I should have gotten one years ago. The torque doesn't pin you to your seat like it does in the 135i, but it's plenty for a daily driver and, once you're of traffic, it feels like it really rewards you for getting your shifts right. As for specs, we got 6MT, M-sport, H-K, NAV, bluetooth and heated seats, which is admittedly a lot. Even so, after three weeks and a couple thousand miles, I've got the iDrive and voice commands pretty well down, and the car just fits like a glove. It's just a magnificent car, and I'm happy to be on a forum with folks who dig it like I do.

Sounds like a great car, and ED and then PCD is the way to go. Lots of fun with your new car.
