My car peed on me

I just got my car two days ago, and I'm going through the process of identifying what needs to be fixed.

During a test run last night, I take a highway cloverleaf type exit ramp rather spiritedly, and suddenly my right foot and gas pedal area get doused with very cold liquid from under the dash. I reached down and felt the liquid, smelled it, and there's no smell. I'm thinking/hoping it's just condensation.

Anyone else have this experience?

It's probably water which has become trapped in the cowl area and has begun getting into the DME compartment which eventually leads to the footwells. I would remove the cowling and check the status of the drain holes ASAP. If your DME is in water (common problem), you may soon have fried electronics and a non-running car on your hands.

Thanks for the response. I'll definitely check that out.

The reason I was thinking it was a/c condensation was because it was ice cold.

I had the same problem what cowling are you talking about? That plastic piece underneath the windshield wipers?
