M60 Plugs Covered In Oil

Today I replaced both my front rotors, fixed my rear left window, got an oil change (well that was on the 1st actually) and replaced all eight spark plugs. While changing the plugs each and every one of them had oil on them and there was a small amount of oil in the surrounding area. I know this is a common failure of some gasket in there, anyone have anymore info on this? Thanks a lot! Not sure it's worth replacing since it's such a small amount of oil leaking into that area. I'm assuming all plugs being oiled means there is no misfire as there is no CEL or such. Also put on some top of the line Bosch Icon wiper blades. They are insanely incredible. They sell for 25.00/per blade but wow, the way they wipe just makes you want to keep wiping with them, it like shears the water away, hard to explain, highly recommend!

Yes, it is common to have oil on the plugs. How many miles are on the car? and do you know if they've ever been replaced before?

The car has 130,000 miles. I do not know the last time they were replaced. The ones that were in there were Bosch and said BMW on them

Theres a chance your plugs are very old. If they are very oil fouled , + BMW OE not many go to the dealer for plugs a 10 ea. As long as the spark plug wells have just a small amount of oil getting in ,you probably can wait on the valve cover gasket set that includes the 2 rectangle plug well gaskets. I hear it PIA to do the repair.Good news on the rear window ,any new parts used?how old is the air filter ? .Yes i agree Bosch window wipers are the best. I just installed a sweet new Alpine cd player in my 93 to match the new cd player in my 92 .. Anyone need the original trunk cd player and casset head player?.
