Try to lock all doors through Driver door, Passenger door doesn't lock
Hello again! I have a 94 E36 2 door.
My problem is my passenger door lock. I will lock my doors via putting in the key into the driver's side then turn the key. Driver's door locks, but passenger's door doesn't. I will have to walk over to the other side of the car and put the key into the keyhole of the passenger door then then it to lock it. Even then, the little knob on the inside does not go down like it is supposed to (it goes down hardly, probably in the millimeters range). Pressing the driver's door lock while in the car locks the driver's door, but not the passengers'. I have no aftermarket alarm (or alarm in general) installed, but am planning on getting one. Any thoughts on this and what brand and model to go for? I read that some alarms mess the locking of their E36. Last edited by Birds; 07-07-2011 at 05:11 AM. |
