I think the OXY calls should pay well as well. OXY profits should not be too bad this last quarter. I reckon them OXY calls will pay well. Fingers crossed though..
OXY announces earning some where around July 29th.

I think last quarter could be a good one, but the outlook could disappoint. I'm seeing more iPad2 flooded on the shelves now, even people were talking about tsunmai that hit Japan could impact iPad2 component supplies. Also, AAPL has a history of losing ground the day after they report. It's still cheap for its P/E, but it's also up 50 bucks in a month.

What do you think?

Stock is priced in for earnings unless they beat earnings numbers by quite a bit like Google did. I like OXY more at this point because OXY dropped from like $117-118 to about $100 and is now at $104 take or give. I doubt OXY will miss earnings. Pay attention to all the $110 and $115 August calls on a daily basis for buying activity. MCP and NVDA also should do well.

On Monday I plan on Buying some Apple calls. I doubt (though everything is possible) that Apple will disappoint. My guess is $380+ this week. Fingers crossed.

Good luck to you as well... I've closed AAPL already and stated my reaons before.

I've even sold my SINA call so that I wouldn't get hit twice if BIDU failed to deliver.

I'm all about BIDU and NFLX this week.

BIDU August $155 calls are at $7.05 now The OXY August $115 calls are also up nicely at $.91 now

Short term only (very short term), SLV should drop so puts should do well on them if you are up for the gamble.

Like I expected, the last Q was strong and next Q is still in doubt. But then AAPL always lowball its guidance.

With 76B in cash, it should start thinking about what to do with it, say paying down the US debt, buying up Microsoft, etc...

Freakin Apple products in Asia are like Louis Vuitton or Hermes products. The Chinese just want the latest Apple product. I don't see how a company can miss or have poor sales when it has a product that the majority of the Chinese want. Even a freakin 50-60 year old lady on the Bus or on teh Metro in Taiwan has a freakin Iphone in her hand.

I'm looking for cable-alternative for TV, but still wife prefers channel-flipping than NFLX, Hulu Plus, Amazon or Blockbuster - none of those delivers the TV shows on-demand, so it's great to see Amazon is taking the first baby step.

Which made is a great opportunity to buy in NFLX today

AMZN stands on its own merit without the video... If they ever reach critical mass on Video streaming, that would be icing on the cake.

Do you NOT have a PS3 at home?? The NFLX interface on PS3 is easier than channel flipping... I take it that you have never used NFLX for streaming based on your statement. You shouldn't buy a company if you don't fully understand what they do and their strength and weakness..

I have a Wii and I do have Netflix app. I'm referring to the content from NFLX vs the content provided by cable TV - she's more interested in Food Network, Travel Channel, HGTV than channels that offer movies like TNT, TBS, HBO etc. Also, shows offered on, say Disney Jr, aren't available on NFLX - there're limited quantities, but they're the same ones available from the public libraries for free.

You do know NFLX does not offer TV shows unless they're in DVD right?

But your original statement appears to be refrence to the user interface

Since "Pawn Stars" and "american picker" to list a few are TV Show on demand... it would appear on the surface that you 1) Didn't know that because you didn't use NFLX and 2) Just want to "flip channels" Thus prompeted my statement.
