AC Stops then Starts but no temp. control

My air conditioning stopped blowing one day and it started blowing again about a week later. I was thinking it might be the final stage unit at first, but the fact that it started working again confused me. Also, it is blowing now, but the temperature won't change. It won't get cold or hot. Not sure if it matters, but it has been an average of 100+ temperature wise here in Middle Tennessee. Suggestions?

Blowing issue is FSU. My Blower on my 330ci did not work 3 times in the 8 years I have had it, but not in 4 years or so has it had a glitch? Gotta love these gremlins....but not related to your hot air problems, IMO,
Temperature won't change? Did you try and turn on the heat? I know, kind of hard to do when it is freeking 100 degrees out, but just curious....as that is a separate coolant valve that could be stuck open, allowing hot coolant into your heat exchanger....nullifying your AC...try to open it....let the hot coolant run through it for a while and then try to close it.

trouble shoot that valve first (under the hood on driver side inner fender)...once eliminated, I would check the freon charge....let us know what you figure out!

Yeah I've turned the heat on full blast and left it run for about 5 minutes and then tried cool again. Temperature of air coming out of vent didnt change at all.
