Everyone,
Here is a copy of the info I sent to the Nittany Bimmers regarding this Saturday's drive. The reason for the radios (for those of you who have not driven on an organized drive) is to communicate a number of road conditions, turns, stops, & general Info.

Bimmerfest East 2011

When: Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Where: Ripken Stadium, 873 Long Drive, Aberdeen, MD 21001

The Nittany Bimmers will conduct a drive to this event. It is not a BMW CCA sponsored event, but it is a club function. I will be conducting a drive to this event this Saturday, August 6, 2011.

Time: 7:45 AM
Where: Walmart Parking lot - 2034 Lincoln Hwy Lancaster, PA 17602
Departure Time: 08:00 AM
Needed: Talk-about radio
$20.00 cash to be admitted - NO Credit cards, checks, Debit!

I have included the basic information for those who wish to attend this event. Click on the website shown above or Google "Bimmerfest East 2011". There will be an organized drive to the event
Registration on line is free and parking will be $20 cash when you enter.
Bimmerfest East 2011 opens at 10:00 AM and runs until 3:00 PM. All BMWs are part of the show with parking costing $20 per car -- no cost for your passengers! There will be a single entrance to the show and you will be entering on Long Drive. Please help keep traffic moving and have a twenty dollar bill ($20) handy to give to the parking staff.

You do not need to respond to me if you plan to attend unless you feel like it. I'd urge you to get there in the morning to see all the nice vehicles and talk to some of the interesting vendors.
