Awesome, thanks for the post! Was about to pull the trigger today on a 2011 X3 xDrive28i but now I think I may wait a couple of months for the MY12. Was worried the price would jump $1000 and have no changes, but for an extra $100 it's worth it cause I'd love to have the anthracite headliner w/ just the sport package.

Any idea when BMW will start taking orders for the MY12s? Dealer yesterday told me the MY11 I was considering ordering was already in production queue but could still be customized, so I imagine they're getting ready to pull the plug on MY11 production.

Production for 12's start as of September

From what I have read August is the last month of production for 11's. 12's start as of September.

I've very recently been reading here about people's MY '11 orders being denied because of the production end. Unless your dealer has remaining production allocation, which isn't likely this late, I think you would need to order a '12 at this point.

"excited to announce ...... will receive FLOOR MATS"? How can anyone be "excited" about getting floor mats? "Pleased" maybe, but mats should have been included from the get go IMHO. Other than the hype from the advertising copywriter who apparently has little in life to occupy his/her time and gets "excited" about the strangest things, it was a good attachment and had a lot of info. I always wondered if the "merino" premium leather came from the sheep of the same breed. I still don't know, but I got a hint when it was mentioned that "merino" was chosen as a name because it referred to the name of a premium wool. I suspect that the "premium merino leather" actually comes from cattle not merino sheep. Like the famous "Corinthinan Leather" of a long ago Chrysler the name was probably chosen because it sounded "chi chi and upscale".

Thanks for the replies! Hopefully I can get the same discount on the MY12 that I was being offered on the MY11

-I've very, VERY interested in the contents of this PDF, but my version of Acrobat isn't able to read it. It keeps thinking the file is corrupt. Could you possibly copy/paste the contents into regular text? or save the PDF to be compatible with older versions of Acrobat?
