truly weird radio issue
I am having an electrical issue with my 2003 X5.
1) When I turn the radio on, it works but the clock is 4 dashes. 2) The radio turns off by itself after being on for 20 minutes. The display is completely blank, including the clock. 3) If the radio is on why I turn off the vehicle, it stays on. I assume it turns off after 20 minutes like it does when the vehicle is on but I have not checked that. I am worried it might stay on and drain the battery. It sounds like my radio module is shot. Before I go to the stealership, any help would be apreciated.
