Where was this part made?
03 530 Just received a replacement FSU from my usual on-line source. Bearing in mind the apparently large number of "made in China" parts roaming around, I'd like to know if anyone recognizes this.
It has a bright yellow "Made in Germany" (in caps) sticker but there is evidence (glue) of a previous sticker being in the approximate same place. There is a white sticker with "acm germany" (all lower case) on the side. There are no other marks on the part at all. Does this sound legit or recognizable? |

Does it really matter, its an FSU, a big resistor pack. lots of stuff is made in china and it works just fine.

How many rods does it have? If it's fewer than 50, it's the older design and you need the new design, regardless of where it was made.

Compare your pics with these:
- What is the right brand FSR to purchase (1) (2) Here, for the record, is the 39-rod FSU I bought, a few years ago (re-using my old pic). With your label, I can finally answer the original question posed years ago in this picture! PS: ACM is 'not' on the list of recommended FSUs (but that list isn't accurate yet)! So, I ran a search for the acm germany FSU part number 0155.1017 on their web site: Apparently acm germany part number 0155.1017 correlates to acm germany part number "Switches & Sensors" 64116923204. See more details on the "what's the right FSU to buy page". Last edited by bluebee; 08-19-2011 at 09:38 PM. |
