Easiest Way to Install Window Sliders
Okay, I know this has been talked about on here a million times, but out of everyone's experience...what is the easiest way to snap the slider on the ball of the regulator. I have tried a 10" vice grip and still no luck getting it all the way on. Open for new suggestions.

Yepp...I press it on and seems to go in very easy for the first pop...but cant make it pop a second time. If you move the slider back and forth by hand there is still quite a bit of play compared to the ones that havent broke yet.

When I had my e36
I cut a piece of 2x4 small enought to snuggle tightly behind the regulator arm and then used a hammer to pop it into place. Be careful and hit only the center or else you'll bend the arm, break the white slider thing, or hit your hand... heard of people also using dish soap as lube |

Go to the trunk pull out the adjustable pliers. Size it to the slider and squeeze. It is even angled for an easier install.

You need to have the 2nd click otherwise a few week later it pops out and you need to remove the door panel to reinstall the slider again.

I don't have a door panel on that side anyway, so no big deal
