wheel bearing and rear fliud
This is my first BMW, it's a 98, 328i convertible. Can some one tell me if the wheel bearings are sealed or do they need packed? Also do you put 90 wt. grease in rear? I'm going put Mobile one 5-30 full synthetic in engine is this okay? Thanks for now, Nelson

Someone needs to chime in on the wheel bearing question. As far as rear, 75w-90 for the differential/final drive - I use Mobil 1 with good results. Mobil 1 5w-30 is too thin for this application. Just to keep it simple and use Mobil 1 0w-40 instead year round.
