2012 128i A6 Alpine/ Coral/ Alpine no other options.

My new daily driver.

My quick story:

Picked it up friday and was happy with the dealer experience.

The 8 year old Toyota needed replacing, so I sold it on Ebay and then started test driving new cars ... ~17 total.
All the others were disqualified for different reasons and it finally came down to 1 series vs. Cayman ... I already have a weekend, 2 seater musclecar, so the choice was made.
The 128i has PLENTY of power and is more than adequate as a DD vs. the 135i.
The dealer only had loaded 2011's and I wanted a 2012, so I ordered it back in june and 10 weeks later ......

I wanted to keep the price down, but I also wanted the rare red interior .. the dealer said it's the lowest optioned version he'd ever seen.

I really enjoy the standard hookup for my Ipod Touch.

So far the car is flawless.

Looks great! Mine is a 09 vert with only sports pack and walnut interior trim options. I am still happy with my choice. I added a nuvi on a BMW Portable bracket which also gets me bluetooth phone and MP3 playback.

Welcome also...and niiiiice looking ride. You chose well. You sure do not need a LOT of gizmos, sound, and turbos to enjoy a great little Bimmer. In fact, what started this whole crazy car cult, are the very cars that most moderns would reject as just not being enough for them...in speed, computerization, sound/net hookups and the etcsss's just go on and on. Enjoy the purity of it all, and let no one tell you different.

Ronsitto, the Alpine White BMW 128i looks as beautiful as my car but your inside is different. I am amazed I find the inside coral color with the Alpine White trim to be beautiful since I never thought I would like a red interior until I saw yours. I love the combination you chose! Enjoy your car. I know mine handles so well and I can see which is so important to me.

Ronsitto, So how are you liking your car? I love driving my car. My seat is so comfortable on my back and I feel safe in my car since I have great visibility and head rest protection. I also love my oyster leather seats and the happy Alpine White exterior color! The only thing I would change if I could but I can't is I wish the seat was 2" shorter but this is a problem for me in every car I tested. At least my left foot just reaches the floor and my right foot can be flat on the gas pedal if I need it to which I can't in most cars due to my petite legs. I love your red color seats but I just craved a light on light color for my car as I never had this combination in colors before. I also wish BMW would offer a back-up camera have have their Navigation system read out street names and then I would have not hesitated to buy it even if it blocked my view a little bit.

Great except the screaming loud, idiot seatbelt chime and its volume control is worthless. BMW and the dealer are non-responsive about this complaint.
