1979 733 wont stay running

I am interested in buying a 1979 BMW 733. The engine wont stay running without holding the gas down and the engine runs very ruff. It has been sitting since about 2000. The car has 116000 miles on it. I am a newcomer to the BMWs so any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

may do you have bad gas, or vacume leack, or idler air control valve have to check for all

and check for fuel presure
also may you have bad spark plugs also. check all

yours i dont remember is fuel distributer or injectors, if is fuel distributer check for rusty fuel line on distributer self and try bleed fuel distributer by loosing fuel line one by one if you can stay engine at idle!!!!!!!!!!

Probably a storage issue more than a running issue. Bad gas is a likely culprit. Gas lasts about a month before degrading; in 11 years...
A lot of the rubber parts will have gone south in the storage. Assume it will need a lot of repair and go from there.
