1972 2002

I want to buy a 1972 BMW 2002. The owner is asking $3800. I am going to test drive tomorrow please tell me what I should look for and what I should ask about this make and model.

There are million questions to ask and a million things to look at on the car. Any chance you could post some pics before you buy? That would give at least a first sense of what you're looking at.

Highly recommended would be to have a person knowledgeable about ' 02s go over the car, if you are not confident in your own assessment ablilites.
