Order placed... waiting begins

After going back and forth on the color, I finally placed an order for a 2012 550i in titanium silver with 2TB, ZCV, ZCW and ZMP.

The best quotes I received was $140 over invoice for ED and $300 over invoice for US delivery. Even with the longer wait, couldn't pass up taking delivery of a BMW in Germany.

Amazing. I'm paying Greg Poland $800 over invoice for ED, although his doc fee is very low.

My friend just picked up his ordered 2011 535xi for $100 over invoice (and then reduced by the Nav credit) plus the normal (ridiculous) dealer/advertising fees. He did not get the Sport pkg so should be no issues with the tires. I will be ordering my 2012 550xi with the M Sport package plus other stuff from the same dealer in early November.

We are in NH.

FYI..... to MKY 550i.... $140 over invoice is a great deal...!. did your CA let you know that BMW came out w/ the $1,730 NAV option credit for a 2012 model?. if he did not you are paying $1,870 over invoice............

To MKY 550 and others......... the NAV credit is for a 528/535 NOT 550... my error,sorry

It's an amazing offer.......... no way to compete w/ that......not sure why they would do a ED for $140 profit? there is no kickback from factory.... they really make $140, doesn't make sense to me.. but hey not my deal.
