I just had mine done last weekend, I also went with Huper Optik as well, 50% all around, including windshield. Then I went with 30% on the sunroof.

I would never use anyone but Hann Kim @ STM in Korea town. Great guy and the best work. He's done 5-6 if my cars and I've always been 100% pleased.

What are your percentages? Did you actually tint the windshield?

I don't understand what the big deal is about letting others know what you paid for this. I for one am interested in doing this myself and would also like to know what something like this costs. Why the secrecy? After all, this forum is meant to enlighten its users on all aspects of bimmer ownership.

Does anyone know any good tinters in the NYC area? I'm from brooklyn and looking to get it done also. PM me or just reply back! thanks!

anywhere from 400 - 450 is a straight deal for this kind of tint... if your paying less make sure you get the warranty card cause they might just say they are using huper optiks. because when you sign up for the warranty they make you put in a dealer code which you need to activate the warranty

35 percent all around... i ididnt do the windshield put the up upper part of it (eyebrow) i went 5 inches down from the top also with same tint

Not trying to be secretive, just that from what I've heard, some businesses have been known to advertise in sneaky ways on this forum, and the moderators weren't keen on it.

The only windows you can legally tint in CA are any windows behind the driver. Rear two and back window only.

I've had the windshield tinted on my cars for 10 years and never had a single issue
