Good muffler for deep throaty sound???

I own a 2003 E46 M3 and was looking for a muffler that gives you a deep throaty muscle car sound, plus getting rid of the stock muffler saves a lot of weight. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

A pair of AR20 resonators will take care of the rasp, and then you can add anything you want on the rear.

I can't comment on the Agency Power. But...My father had a Borla set up on his, and it was quite a unique sound, beautiful and unlike any other M3 I've heard. I wouldnt call it "muscle car" though. Much more refined then that.

Also, on his 550, he had a Dinan exhaust, god was that deep. Starting it created more bass notes then i've ever heard from any sub in the back of some kids honda civic. But keep in mind thats a v8, and the i6 in the M3 makes a much different pitch.

my $0.02

Borla

I have an e46 M3. I put a cat-back Borla exhaust on it. As mentioned above, it isn't a deep throaty sound like a Corvette (If that's what you want put Corvette mufflers on your car). The Borla exhaust is more of a refined sound. I would say something closer to a Ferrari sound rather than a gas hungry American muscle car. Plus the Borla exhaust is pretty lightweight... i believe about about 32 pounds per muffle.

I've had an Agency, Dinan, and currently SuperSprint. The Agency was really loud, Dinan not loud enough, and SS was perfect IMO.

Search YouTube to get an idea of what they're going to sound like.

Perfect comparison these are on my list and I've looked at videos on youtube but I can't really tell how loud they'll be in person. I wanted something that has a great sound and is really loud and from what you just told me Agency would be the perfect choice thanks

I've been researching this as well, and i think I have decided on either a Rogue Engineering El Diablo or a Remus Race with carbon fiber tips, and a borla mid pipe.....sounds awesome
