Huper Optik Installer for my F10

I've been looking for a Huper Optik window tint installer in the SF area for my new F10. I came across Auto Mall Tint Specialist and they quoted $700 ($640) cash to have the car tinted (no moonroof and no windshield). This is way too high. It's like highway robbery!

Does anybody here recommend other tint places for Huper Optik? Also, what would be a reasonable price to pay?

Entire car including front and roof? If so that sounds about right and maybe 10-15% off if paid in cash

Seriously? It's tint not an ECM reprogram. The differences in high end tint is minimal. The installation is much more important than the film being used. People can wax poetic all they want about it, but what does it really do? If you spend more than 2-$250 you are a sucker.

No... It's only the front sides, rear sides, and the rear. No roof and no windshield. If it includes the windshield and the roof, then I would understand the pricing. I had another 5 series tinted in Orange County for $450 cash. Since I've purchased the same product before, I know that Auto Mall Tint Specialist is way overpriced. When I called them, they said that they charge those astronomic prices since they are the only one in the area that sells Huper Optik tint.

Mr Tint in San Jose is much more reasonable with pricings. It seems like they have decent reviews. Does anybody have experience with these guys?

From what I've been reading on the different forums, it is worth the extra $ for the Huper Optik. People who sell both Huper and Madico (which you own) are saying that the Huper is superior. They both have excellent heat rejection but the Madico is a dyed product and could fade and turn purple over the years.

Its warrantied for life and I have never had a problem with it on 2 cars that I own. The installer has been in the same location for 20 years and ONLY installs tint, and I have had half a dozen cars tinted there. None of the film they used has ever given me a problem and they never leave any gaps on the glass. Like I said, the installer is more important than the film being used and spending 2X as much enters into the law of diminishing returns.

Huper Optik is a ceramic film, HUGE advantage on heat reduction. Might as well say "a car is a car".. Ceramic is tops

You'll pay $500'ish but to me it has been well worth it.

IMHO, best installer in LA is Hann Kim at Songs Tint Masters near Koreatown

I found Mr Tint in San Jose which installs Huper. They quoted $450 cash. This may be my best bet. They had a fairly good Yelp review.
