I spoke to a Dinan rep and he said it's not available for the X5 as of now

It's actually 7 times that, but Dinan has incremental pricing on the their software. If you already have a lower version of the code, all you pay is the list price difference between the two. Stage 1 lists for $2,999 and Stage 2 lists for $3,499, so you if you have Stage 1 you only need to pay $500 plus installation less any promotional pricing at the time. Stage 3 software will probably be another $500-1000 down the road, plus any required hardware.

I'll probably get Stage 2 before the current promotion is over, but I'm really hoping they release a decent CAI soon, that way I could have both installed at the same time.

Indeed, Stg 2 Dinan is now available for the 550 (F10) model.

Performance & drivability improved markedly as a result of tweaking the torque curve. Claimed HP: 501; Torque 580 lb ft
