abs,traction,brake illuminated

Hello ,

I am thinking to purchase a 525i 2001 bmw and the brake tracktion and abs ight come on all at same time ..sometimes is off then aftyer driving a few minutes its turn on for asecond then shuts off then turn on again flashes then turn back on solid. I have investigated and says it can be numerous things such as abs computer module, can be brake relay and can be whell sensor or just wiring. I took it to bmw they tell me is dsc module and pressure sensor....and quoted me 2200.oo.

Can anyone tell me what I should do or most common issue with this error? Also if anyone know a reputable descent affordable mechanic to send me info in san fernando valley area

It is excellent posting It is same for 5-series also.I have just completed mine for my 528i.
On ebay, you can have ABS module repaired for $150 they said but my unit was "not repairable" and I had to pay $450. I paid it and got the new rebuiled module. Put it my self and everything is working fine.
