Looking into getting an 850ci

Im looking into getting the 850Ci or the i and im wanting to know if anyone can tell me if there is a common issue with them and i will be doing all the maintenance on it right when i get it all new oils and fluids breaks so on and so forth. I understand these are amazing cars and all but i just want to be prepared.

One thing that seems to plague all of them is failing capacitors in the General Module. I just picked up my '97 850Ci last week, and had issues with the GM already. Easy, cheap fix.

Yes. Plenty of issues. I owned an 850i - if you can get a manual, worlds different and a blast to drive.

The "road fly" board was the best e31 forum I have seen, tons of information, awesome community.

Go to Bimmerforums and use the Search Button - your question is asked at least once a week, and there is a boatload of info on just about every aspect of this car.
