2011 535xi good price

What's the consensus for "left over" 2011 pricing. Dealer has a fully loaded 535xi with M, prem 1, 2, etc, sticker is over 69k. What price relative to invoice before nav and regional credit are the 2011 going for?

I did $500 over invoice before the $5270 in dealer credits:
  • BMW Loyalty Incentive - $1000
  • USA Olympic Drive Event Incentive - $1000
  • Option Credit (Navigation or Premium Package) - $1730
  • Manufacturer-to-Dealer Incentive - $1500

I also ordered one of the last 2011 allocations... I'm pretty sure the dealers will stick close to that on what's already on the lot. There's not a lot of change between the two model years - just a switch up in option packages. (Although I was quite happy to still have soft-close doors available in the 535, it's not an option in 2012 except for the 550.)

I believe the Manufacturer to dealer incentive is called Build Out Incentive; based on what a dealer told me yesterday, it is only on x-drive 535, not rear drives. Not sure about 550's

First post Hello all.

I am interested in a similar vehicle 2011 535xi, M-sport, loaded which is currently sitting at their lot with an MSRP of $70k CS quoted me $880/per month for 36month/10k miles putting $2700 down acq, bank, 1st payment only. Idealy, with all the incentives mentioned using the $500 over invoice pricing, I would think the monthly payments would be lower no?

Don't really get leasing too much vodoo, but you need to get the residual and money factor from your CA and plug it into a lease calculator. Edmunds discussions usually has those numbers.

I got mine 4 months ago, for 64K with an MSRP 71K

but now we are towards the end of year.
In an analogy you should close exactly at 62K minus the credits.
overall you can grab this car for 60K if you act properly and get advantage of the dealer's desperation
I was there yesterday and dealer was whining about all the 11 F10's that he can't get rid off.
My friend got a 535 12K off MSRP!

oh...and If its a 550 you can beat them down to death...
Note this depends on the location and demographics though.
New England allows heavy bargaining but go to other places
such as NY or CT and you will get this extreme attitude off the dealer
you will never be able to get much from them. (highly populated areas)

So choose your location appropriately.
Examine what they have left, how desperate they are and how much the sales person
wants to sell.
In particular taylor your visit to approach the final deal exactly
ONE or the SAME day before the end of month.
They will sell their mother to make a sale on that day.
Make them an offer and if they say no step out/
they will chase you in the parking lot!

I went to leasecalculator.com and used the following scenario: MSRP 70k Negotiated price 63.5. no money down 36 month term Residual 56% money factor .00195. Used additional 1730 and 1500 incentive as additional down payment. Tax rate 7.75% and lease came out to $839 per month.

That's the voodoo of leasing, what is the MSRP, interest rate, negotiated price eetc. If I recalculate the above scenario with an additional 7k down the lease drops to $615.

Actually, I just found out that they've been using this car as a demo. It already has 3200 miles on it so this is what they're offering me:

$830/Per Month for 36months/10k miles $2500 down.

Is this a good deal?

You should be in a 550 for that number and not for a used vehicle.

Try running the lease on this calculator. Selling price can be referenced from the American Express buying site.

http://www.ridewithg.com/calculator/index.htm

Also, MF in New York has been quoted as .00175 (for August) for top tier credit.

If you want a lower monthly payment ask about multiply security deposits.

The 550 would need to be X-Drive and if priced with similar options, MSRP for 78K

Thanks for the link!

I asked my dealer for some lease pricing just to run the numbers - came back with:
  • 36 month lease
  • 10k miles/year
  • 58% residual
  • .00215 money factor
  • no money down
Payments came to $921.51/month.

MSRP $74,750, negotiated to $64,665 w/incentives.

If you take those numbers and put them into a lease calculator like on leaseguide .com I get 823 per month or 889 per month with 8% sales tax. So not sure how they got $921.
I think you ought to be able to do better. On this site and Edmunds I've seen money factors of .00195 or less.
