M5 driver side window controls Low?

I was surfing around on cars.com and was looking at a 2009 e60 M5. In this picture, I don't know just the controls on the drivers door panel just look really really low. Out of curiosity, is this what it looks like in real life or is this just a distortion or just how it looks in picture.

That's how it is on LCI Models 08-10. Pre LCI i.e. 06-07 have these controls much higher.
