We picked up our 2011 BMW x35d a little over a month ago. Did A LOT of research and ordered the consumer report to get all invoice prices on car, options, etc... (definitely the way to go before walking into a dealership to talk about price)

I don't think there could've been a better deal out there. Paid only $274 over INVOICE for X5 itself. All options were priced at invoice of course. On top of that, -3500 eco credit and -1000 BMW ultimate drive event.

So overall, it was $4226 UNDER invoice.

We did finalize the deal end of June so Q2 ending definitely helped the negotiations.

I just picked a 2011 35d yesterday at Tenafly (this was my second purchase there) and basically offered them invoice plus the $3500 ECO and $1000 loyalty off of invoice. MSRP was $61,825 got it for $52,865 which came out to a total of $8,960 in savings. Vehicle is space gray with black interior.

This sounds like a great deal! How difficult was it to get this deal? What justification did you provide for just offering invoice?

Weird...the ECO credit dropped to 2500. (I am pretty sure they do not grandfather the 3500 for a 2011- the credit is what is currently offered at time of contract.)

Credits should be 2500+1730 (if nav) + 1000= 5230 off

(If it has NAV, they kept the 1730 nav credit, but let you have the 3500 you thought was eco). Also, we don't know if BMW offers any 'trunk money' at the last month of a model year..this can be a cash discount to the dealer, or some sort of increase 'back end' incentive.

Just saying- as a way to explain why things that shouldn't make sense sometimes do.... pretty good deal no matter how you slice it.

It's a 2011...2012s are a few days away from shipping.

Hello, New member here. I apologize for long post. Just leased 2011 X5d MSRP 63525 paid 52000. Dealer changed numbers to 533** . I did not care how he came to the final numbers as long as i did not have to pay anymore than what we had agreed upon. The SAV is Space Gray with Oyster Navada Leather. I am a Black / Black person, however i like this combination as well. I did not have much of a choice. There was a Blk/ Beige combo. but it did not have rear heated seat so went with Space Gray. This is my First BMW .My previous car was 2009 MDX other than that I've been a Ml person. There was not much haggle with me and dealer i went to the dealership and told them that i was there to "buy" the X5d if they gave me good price for theirs and mine. we were about $3000 a part and i walked away.By the way this was 200 miles from where i live. Different person came out as i was leaving dealership and asked me if i was willing to split the difference, I refused and went home. Week later they called again i went up $1000 to $52000 and we had a deal. They gave me very good deal on my trade. And rest is history! I'll go at it again in 3years LOL.
