dark graphite II

2011 535i x-Drive, 8/11 build, Sept 17 Delivery, All the sweet options and freshly tinted and detailed.

I just placed my order on Friday... DGII, Oyster/Black, and Anthracite trim. Can't wait.

It's the "sparkles" which were lost when the Japanese company that manufactures them went down after the tsunami that are not present in DG II. +1 I agree with you, one of my favorites if the 6 was available in Dark Graphite I would have got it

I had it scratched even before delivery - and finally got center piece replaced yesterday.

Now have some tiny (like hair) scratches. Looks like even putting your finger to the trim - will scratch it.

If is not there something really annoiyng (like I had cupholder cover moderately scratched - I think it's tint guys who did that - put their tools there..), then just keep more attention (do not put any keys, coins, etc there, never rub during cleaning, etc), and just do not concentrate on them. They will appear, but it will not make car looks really worse or drives bad.
Yes, BMW could did something (my 10 old Lexus is much more scratch resistant than 2 month new BMW), but well, nobody's perfect...

Klasse All-In-One works pretty well on the anthracite wood scratches.

I like my early 2011 DG .... indeed it does sparkle, especially when you hit it with the Zaino

Just picked up our DGII 2011 550i 6spd Saturday for the wife's daily driver.
Our 1st bimmer. I'm getting into this BMW'r thing fast! I'm starting to see what all the fuss is about with these cars. WOW. The intangible feel of this machine is very addicting.

Wife picked the color, so I have no horse in this race. I just get the clean it weekly, so hopefully not too much harder to maintain than here white c63 that just got offed for this beastie.

thanks alot for ur opinions n specially for ur pics. i went to dealership and compared black sapphire and dark graphite 2. i felt both look great but in my opinion graphite is a multidimensional color looks different in different light.so finally decided on dark graphite2 i already drive a jet black car. ordered my 535xi 2012 last week. wait begins
