N20 Dyno Test
I know this is a F10 forum, but this is the first Dyno test of the N20 I've seen.
The same engine and tranny will be going into the 528i. As is typical of BMW turbo engines, the listed power numbers seem conservative than what the Dyno suggests: BMW Claim: 240 hp @ 5,000 rpm, 260 lb-ft @ 1,250 rpm Dyno: 233 whp@5350 rpm, 249 w-lb-ft @4450 rpm

He was right about the sound but I'm starting to believe it. I still won't go back to the 528. I just love the way the 535 feels and it sounds better to me too. Can you dyno the 535?

Interesting the loss in power from the crank to the wheels on the Z is 3% | 4% (HP | Torque) while the 5 is closer to what you'd expect 8% | 6% (HP | Torque).

I don't think it's the change in the loss, it's that the numbers are underrated.
