Newbie Shark Owner

Hello all!
I was recently fortunate enough to acquire a car I’ve lusted after since high school… a 635CSi! It’s in pretty nice shape for a 22 year old car. The interior is in great shape, save for some dashboard cracks. Not much can withstand the Florida sun for that long. I am the 3rd owner and luckily for me all the maintenance has been preformed at a dealership. However, I will add that it hasn't been taken there in about 2 years. The only major downer is that I can’t drive it…yet! It needs a slave clutch cylinder. I was told that was the only thing it needed by the previous owner. I hope that is all it needs. The engine sounds strong and free of any suspicious noises. It needs some TLC and I aim to provide her with it!
I’ll post pics as soon as I pull them off my iPhone.

I'll give her a good cleaning this weekend...she needs it!
Still, I love the look of these cars. Strong, bold and bad-ass!

Looks good! Might as well carefully check all the other hydraulic stuff for leaks etc. All the rubber stuff deteriorates with age, so clutch and brake hoses, cooling system hoses, fuel injector o-rings and hoses are all suspect after this amount of time. If you can do it yourself, you'll save alot of money and a possible breakdown in the future.

Thanks, catso. That's good advice. I'll certainly do that!
