any good deals on the bmw iphone dock?

Apple just announced that Sprint will be getting their IPHONE 4s on the 17th of this month and since my car has bmw apps, I want to check out having an iphone.

Now i Just need the dock...any tips on where you can get them for a good deal?

anybody that does'nt use theirs is there a marketplace on the forums?

Jokes aside, I had read that owners reported their phone over-heating while in the dock (though it has a built-in fan that thread went-on...).

Make sure the phone is fully seated in the dock. You will hear the fan run if so. It is possible for a poor seating that still connects the phone to the car but does not engage the fan.

If you don't hear the fan, take it out and reseat.

Is it easy to install by your self?

It snaps in - extremely easy. While charging, the phone gets hot. Use it heavily and the phone will heat up and stay hot. I still use my iPod for music and use the dock to make calls, keep the phone charged and keep the phone out of the way. Not sure I would pay the big bucks if I had the choice again. I got mine from Ferman BMW in Florida for $240-ish.

I'm with 42Pilot about cost. I like the convenience of always having my music updated in the car -- hated remembering to bring the USB key in to sorta-sync(tm) with iTunes every so often in my previous BMW. Thus, I use the cradle, but it's sure pricey to only add better phone reception and oooooooo video oooooo when i am stopped ooooooo .... I bought it thinking it was needed for most of the apps. Not so.

I installed it in literally 2 seconds with no instructions when I picked up the car.
