Hankook Tires?? Good or bad?

I've got to replace the tires that are on my car soon and I'm wondering if the Hankook V12's are any good?
Right now I have the Falken 452's and find that they are noisy.
Is it worth spending more money and getting into a set of Bridgestones, Mich, or Continentals?

I also wanna change the sizes too. Right now I'm running 245/30/20's up front and 285/25/20's in the rear but I was
thinking of getting tires that have a little more sidewall, like a 245/35/20 and a 275/30/20 or 285/30/20 out back.

Give me your opinions please

I like them. good bang for the buck. I use hancook ventus tires right now
I even have a set of snow tires.....

I have a 2011 vw jetta with Hankook Tires. Never again. I have replaced two tires already with only 5000 and 7000 miles respecitvely. Both tires had pin pricks on the sidewall.

You would think there would be warranty for that?
maybe worthe getting road hazard.

I had V12's on my 350Z and they were flawless. They are soft so they won't last long and the compound is definitely for warmer weather. As soon as the temps dipped below 40 they behaved like stones with no traction.

I had a set on my 135i. They are fine for what they cost, but they wear faster than a comparable Mich/Bridgestone tire and, based on my experience, you get more for your money buying a better quality tire because they last longer and perform better when worn down. The cheaper tires really go down in performance as the tread wears down. You can have a bald Mitch/Bridgestone and they pretty much perform the same as when they were broken in. Just keep in mind you are getting what you pay for and your choices are limited in your tire sizes being that you run 20's.

I think you are right.
I plan on keeping the car for a long time so I will either buy the Mich or the Bridgestones.
The Hankooks look good but it's only about 300-400 more for a top quality tire.

They are just as bad on this site as they are on the other.

Hi, I had the ice bears on my 5 series a few years ago. Drove through a mountain pass in a snow storm and was passing 4x4's going up hills. I thought the tires were amazing...

I bought my z4 with 2 rear v12's and run flats on the front. I like them so today I bought 2 more v12's for the front. I've read allot on these forums about this particular tire. Nothing bad. Would be cool to know what you think about them

Only got less than 400-miles on V12 so far, a few things about the tires, you loose some of that crisp steering feel, during break-in (my guess is <500miles) they are OK grip wise, seems to develop flat spot if not driven for a few days gone after a few miles of driving off. Though today I pushed it on twisties, on/off sweeping ramps and they are better than fine. If money not an object, go with Michelin PSS for $400 more for the set. (the Hankook with $80 rebate was about $600 for me in 275 and 245 staggered set; what else do you want for $600 tire set). My dealer wants $500 apiece for RFT!

Just got car back home with new Hankook V12 evo 20" wheels and 255-30 front and 285-30 rears. Love the tires and the price!

186$ front and 214$ rear best price i could find at Americans Tire
