01 740iL - No compression in engine

So my 2001 740il with 136k has no compression in like 3 cylinders... so I am pricing out new engines and wanted some input on where to go for the best deals. Is there another type of engine that would be beneficial to switch to? Is it even worth repairing? I'm in Cincinnati OH. Anyone want to buy the old engine off me or sell their engine for super cheap

Which cylinders do not have enough compression?
Are they all on the same bank?
Did the engine overheat?
Have you had high oil consumption?
You might get better out, if you will fix what you have, depending on your answers.
You might have a timing issue or carb deposits on valves.
