Mein Auto: 1989 525i
Need Help

I have recently done a total engine/tranny swap on a 89 525i and apon completion bought a new batter and went to start the car, everthing lights wise turned on but when i turned the key to the start position nothing happened at all. Can anyone help me?

Welcome!

Neutral safety switch perhaps? Double check all of your electrical connections. Perhaps you left one disconnected.

I would check starter solenoid for voltage, maybe wires loose. check main engine relay. And new battries can be bad too. Check for 12v.7 min.

Thank you for the suggestions. I got it all figured out. Now i just have to replace the heater blower motor. But i have a parts car for that.
