Hey guys I am getting ready to change my thermostat and I really wanna change my WP as well. My car has 101K on it so I am leaning towards doing the WP as a preventative maintenance as well plus I found a really good deal on it at autozone 36$ brand new. What do you guys think? should I get it or stick to another well known brand?

I have had the HEPU now for 5 years, zero problems.
The Volvo people love HEPU (Made in Germany). |

GMB uses composite impellers and some have said they felt flimsy. Reviews online don't look too promising.

Autozone GMP water pump $36: questionable reliability, when it fails ---> engine overheats ---> $4000 repair
HEPU WPs have good records and cost $50-60/each. This is not a place to save money, even if you are tight on budget. |
