Parking assist...urgent..

Can someone tell me if parking assist is available on the GT?

No...you have to steer it yourself. Now, there are ultra sonic sensors standarad on both the front and rear, and you can set it so that the passenger's side mirror tips down to show the curb when backing, and the camera package (optional) can be set to give you a top down view, but no...you must park it yourself.

my wife asked me....."doesnt the GT park itself..? even the new Fusion does it..."

BMW tends to build vehicles for 'real' drivers. A 'real' driver doesn't need parking assist! (said tongue in cheek).

My wife calls me the "parking assist".

i dont think it's available on the GT, but I've seen videos showing BMW test vehicles with parking assist.

from what I can find, it looks like it's available on the 5 sedan in Europe.

F10 5 Series and F12/F13 6 series have the feature as an option. I don't think they have added it to the GT roster yet, at least not in the states.
