Found my X5...finally
2008 CPO $41.8K
40K miles Monaco Blue on Beige Active Ventilated Seats 3rd Row Seating HUD Rear Seat E'tainment (for the kids) Sport Pkg Premium Pkg Cold weather Pkg Premium Sound Pkg Technology Pkg Power tail gait Active Steering 20's Any thoughts? Seem like a pretty good deal to me. The mileage is a little high as I would prefer < 30K miles but this thing is exactly the way I want it and it's only 30 minutes away. Test drove it today and received credit approval. Just need to pull the trigger. ![]()

You can use Edmunds to find out true market value or Kelly Blue Book. I would find out MSRP. Rule of thumb is MSRP x 20% + (mileage x .15) = how much should be deducted from the orig. MSRP.

Edmunds CPO price is listed at $47889.
![]() I think I will offer $40K and try to get out the door around $44K with the maintenance package. BMWFS is offering 48 month at 0.9% Last edited by J.J.; 10-18-2011 at 04:36 PM. |

Amazing deal! And also, don't worry about the mileage, 100k is just a warm up session for BMW's, they last a lifetime.

I have the same year, model. Mine's silver with black interior. I love it. Love to drive it, it sounds great when you start it, etc. No gripes really.
Bought mine a year ago for $40k and it had 18k miles on it. I shipped from out of state which cost me around $500. Anyway, mine doesn't have the NAV system in it or the rear camera. Those things would definitely boost the price. Just a warning though, this thing sucks gas and burns rear tires. I too have the staggered wheel setup with the wides in the rear and my last set only lasted 9k miles. I live in Denver so I swap wheels in late fall to a winter setup (cost for the winter setup was around $2k) but be prepared to buy new summer rear tires every year (rears are about $3-$400 apiece installed). |

2008 x5 3.0
I just purchased a 2008 X5 last week (october 16th). It was $46770 out the door. this includes service maintenance (2295) + crystal fusion windshield protection ($669).
I was rather in a hurry to buy this car so didn't take my time to haggle too much. You have 4 more option that I don't have in my car, so I am curious how much yours will end up. Active Ventilated Seats HUD Rear Seat E'tainment (for the kids) Active Steering |

Got mine a few weeks back
I got my 2008 CPO 3.0si 2 weeks back, paid $41K. Only 18,000 miles, 3rd row, winter package, tech package, nav. Been very happy with my first Bimmer, sure beats my old Honda Pilot...

1. You MUST know that a "cpo" does not mean the car has not been in an accident... you cannot rely on the dealer's inspection. People have and have been sorry. Not often, but enough that a PPI is a good idea.
2. Maintenance plan? Do you really understand what this is getting you? At $2295 you can just pay for the maintencne can come out way ahead. Unless you like being raped by BMW dealers. 3. "Crystal fusion windshield protection"?!??!? $669!!!! What a salesmans' dream.... clueless and short on time. Hmmm. This product is a scam, period, no if ands or buts.

Chaz, beats the Pilot in every way -- except for third row seat room and total pax capability.
