Best initial Mods for stock 08 M3 Sedan

I recently purchased my first BMW, an 08 M3 Sedan in silverstone metallic. For aesthetics, what would you recommend my first modifications should be. At the moment I am getting the windows tinted, considering painting the stock wheels black, and possibly smoking the tails. What other subtle mods could I do to give it a custom look. Eventually will be upgrading performance when it is financially feasible, what would you recommend to get a better sound/performance for the value? I've heard intake and exhaust, but what have you had success with? I appreciate any feedback.

First, don't smoke the tails.....next loose those orange reflectors in the front bumper and then a nice performance lip would be money! Changing the grilles and side gills would be next....................Phil

Color-matched grille insert rings
Smoked or color-matched reflectors
20 - 35% tint (up to you and your state laws)
10 - 15mm spacers (I'm running 15mm rear and 10mm front with no issues)
Blackline Tail-lights (a smoked gray color instead of the white but without darkening up the red portion)

I highly recommend against black wheels on the SSII - it really doesn't jive well in my opinion.

Thanks a lot for the input, Phil do you have sideskirts on yours? And how do you guys feel about a smaller rear spoiler? Here's a silverstone coupe w/ black wheels, what don't you like about them?

The performance spoiler looks good on the right color. And no I didn't add any side skirts...it's probably the angle of the photo. Also I think some black wheels can really work on SSII...my future track wheels will definitely be black. The comp wheels or the BBS CH-R would be my choice if I wanted a everyday black wheel........Phil

Can you do any spacers with ZCP?

Spacers can be added.....I think 10mm is the largest without rubbing.......Phil
