there is a way. You may have to kill the traction control. It involves holding down the DTC button for 5 seconds. The car will then tell you that it is disabled.

BMW 535i F10 Dyno

I have disabled the traction and closed the hood and the dyno shop still was not able to get it to go passed the M2 in the manual mode, it keeps shifting down. So far we do not think that we were able to test it
