M6 Bumper Swap

I dented my front bumper tonight and it brings up a question. Is a 2007 M6 front bumper cover a direct replacement for a 2007 650i cover? If not does anyone know what additional parts are needed?

You posted in the DIY sub-section which has very low traffic, so not many people are going to see this question.

You need a bunch of extra parts like cooling ducts, brackets, mesh grills etc...I think if you go OEM from the dealer for all the parts it costs about $1,500.

Exactly the situation I am in, looking to do a 2006 650 series conversion to an 2008 m6, have all the parts but before I buy the 650 I want to be sure its possible. This will include headlights, blinkers, mirrors, spoilers, anything and everything. Anyone seen this done before, or know its possible or have done it already??

Hello everyone, I am new here and a first time bimmer owner. We'll I had a mid 70's 2002 back in the day

I just wanted to add that the upgraded bumpers, mirrors, head/tail lights are doable and they look great. I bought a 06 650I and it has the updated parts. You might get a headlight failure on screen when you turn on car but it goes away. I am looking for manuals and info on the car as I am trying to get familiar with all the options and error codes and anything else I should be familiar with, thank.

Btw, these cars are awesome.
