BMW My Remote App

For all the new 6 owners, I have a friend with a B7 who told me about this. Of course its in the itunes UK store. But it was not hard to figure out and I downloaded it last night. You can find out a bunch of things about it when you look on line. It does some neat gimmicky things like flash lights, honk horn and Lock/Unlock your car as well as one cool thing, which is send POI information from Google maps to your connected drive, similar to sending Google Maps from your computer. What I cannot get it to do is turn on the ventilation system as shown in non U.S. cars.

I have been using it for about six months....I can't imagine why BMW USA isn't supporting it yet. The newest version 1.04 came out in the last few weeks, and though it looks identical to 1.03, it has removed any delay or bugginess in 1.03. If anyone gets the climate options to work...let us know.

Thanks for the info. I just downloaded 1.03 and it works like a charm. Where can i get 1.04? Can you please post of email it to me? Thanks

Actually, you probably have the newer version. It still reads 1.03 in the device, but read 1.04 in the app store...or at least my update did. The file size was different, so I know that it is a different version.

I can never get this to work. Everytime I login, it gives me a message 'no saved vehicles in account'.

Yes I do. I can login but it tells me no saved vehicles in my account.

If you have or had multiple BMWs the password might be different. Whenever I logged in it would show my previous BMW , finally I got the new password from my dealer and I was able to use it with my new car.

Call BMW assit 1-888-333-6118 and give them a new email address for your account. After a few hours your bmw remote will work, maybe you have to wait to the following day.

Where do I get my ConnectedDrive username?

The email address you used when registering your car with BMW. They should have provided you a theft recovery certificate at the dealer that will have your password and email address.

Also, anyone who is using this...it has now been updated to 1.05

Hmmm... tried loggin in with those credentials and it doesn't work.
