91 750iL -Head unit install help

i am trying to install an aftermarket head unit in my 91 750il, i have wiring diagrams that help a little bit but the issue im facing is the speaker wires, the diagrams show + & -, but the car only seems to have + going to the factory radio, and i cant find the correct wires to get any sound what so ever. any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
