Sorry to disagree but SMG will actually be a "bit" faster....

Same for the Corvette Z06 which has a 4.5s time.

What! The E46 M3 is not supercar! I want to drive a supercar or at least a high performance vehicle with supercar acceleration like the Mitsubishi EVO, I was hoping the BMW E46 M3 is the one. BTW, I doubt BMW vehicles can be considered a bargain, same goes to Porsche, Audi, etc because there is a premium price for the brand name. The Chevrolet Corvette is a bargain because the brand name is not premium but the performance is.
Ummm, your joking right?? "the Mitsubishi evo is no where close to a super car...Nor does it have super car acceleration. The 2011 has less horsepower than an M3 and only slightly more torque than the e46 M3 at 291 horsepower and 300 lbs-ft of torque. These numbers are no where close to the E9x M3. Your comparing apples to oranges here. And I'm sorry but corvettes "don't have a premium cost because they are not a premium brand name? Again, are you kidding?...Corvette is a premium brand name and the cost of a nice one is comparable if not more than most BMW's in fact the only BMW that might be slightly more expensive is the M5, which would smoke most stock corvettes, while your family is sitting comfortably in the back seat.
