F10 / F11 (2011 - 2016)
The sixth generation of the BMW 5 Series Sedan (F10) was produced from 2011 - 2016 with LCI updates arriving in 2014. In the US BMW offered a hatchback 5 Series Gran Truismo (F07) and the rest of the world also go a Station Wagon/Touring version F11.

Is 550i M-Sport Suspension up to Dinan 2?

My 2012 550i M Sport has just about 650 mi. now and I am getting used to the car.

Nice, with lots of technology, but not as quite of a slot car as my E60 550i Sport. I really miss the adjustable seat side bolsters on my E60 as they held you in during spirted driving in the twisties.

For those of you who have installed the Dinan Stage 2, do you find that the M-Sport "Sport" Suspension chasis adjustment is firm enought to handle the extra power?

So far even without the Dinan upgrade I wish there was one flatter, firmer suspension choice in the adjustable suspension settings. I just wonder if adding substantial power would be out of balance.

Indpendent of horsepower, I think non-RFTs make the ride a bit soft. I've been trying to decide whether to get ACS springs or wait for the Dinan suspension reprogram.
