Best cover for a 2012 550xi M Sport

What is the best car cover for the 550xi with the M Sport?, I assume most standard 550 cover are not big enough for the front bumper.

Many people here do not like car covers. In the wind they beat up the finish. If they get dirty they tend to grind grit into the finish.
04 Successfully lobbied BMW NA and BMW FS to prohibit dealers from using residual values based upon Euro Delivery MSRP and to use US MSRP saving BMW Enthusiasts several thousand dollars on each lease

What do you suggest? I live by a tree and between the leaves and everything else that falls from it I thought a cover would be a good bet

The best alternative would be to build a shade, hire some cheap labor and build a shade with four legs and roof. It may cost you $1000 and best car cover would be around $250, so the $750 more is the best investment you would have ever done to your car.

I really wouldn't use a car cover. I once put the official BMW car cover on a brand new silver 3 series, and it dulled the paint. I also only ever put the cover on if the car was clean, but dust gets under there and the cover sands the dust into the paint, thereby dulling the finish.

Buying a black car with outdoor parking is pretty bold!

I have owned many covers over the past 25 years. Buy one from one of the ebay resellers as listed above, use it, throw it away every 1.5 to 2 years and get another.
The item as listed is essentially same as any higher priced $100-$300 four layer outdoor car cover.
I have purchased same for my son three years ago and the cover is nice and low cost. Spend more money and you will just waste your money.
Covers get dirty before they fall apart and are not easy to clean except going to coin laundry and use biggest washer.
No association with reseller(s). Item listed for reference, locate product that fits your f10 5er car YRMV
