Supercharger E65 Photos

Dear All
The link below is to the photos of my supercharger E65. The project is not quite finished as the timing is still not quite right but its performance is impressive.

The engine cover is still to go on as well.

The mods are as follows
ESS Tuning supercharged kit
MRR GT1 22" wheels
Eibach Pro-kit lowered springs all round
New transmission
Engine removed dissasembled checked, all new seals reassembled
German Maestro 8" woofers
JBL MS-8 Digital Processor
Hybrid TV
Reversing Camera
All interior panels recoated
Quad Exhaust with Magnaflow muffler
misc modules that were faulty

I pondered for a while on body kits and badging and decided a B& badge will do. A little bit fake but hey its supercharged. The badge looks a little crooked in the photo so I checked it against the trunk lid , it lines up. Must be the angle.

Looks awesome. Those MRRs look great with a black face! Hopefully we will get to see some videos of the exhaust and performance as well as pictures of your other mods.

I'm a little thrown off by the B7 badge. Non-enthusiast will have no clue what It means and enthusiast will think you are a poser. I would just go debadged.

Overall the car looks great. Very original and well thought out. Glad to see that this project is coming to an end and you are getting to enjoy the bountiful fruits of your labor. Congrats!

Glad to see an hear that the project is coming close to completion. The wheels and exhaust look great! I would also vote to remove the B7 emblem off. I saw your headlights and noticed you painted the orange reflector black. Looks great! I want to do the same to my car.

Yes I did think alot about the badge and debadging. Debadging here means basic than basic model. B7's were never sold in Australia so only true enthusiasts would know. My final rational was that the only badge would be B7 as a mark of difference and referencig the supercharger and was subtle enough for the locals .The car does not represent itself as an Alpina (as it is not) and there are no markings to that effect. I thought of other letters A7, S7, G7 etc but I couldnt find the letters with the right font.
The whole rebuild took 16 months todate and not without challenges.
Im happy with the result though

OMG! that is SOOOOO sick!

but take off that B7 emblem, you do not have a B7 because you have a supercharger

Congratulations man! the car is looking great. I agree in that taking the B7 badge off might be better! A debadge would probably be a smarter choice

I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we're DEFINITELY looking forward to videos and dyno results once it is fully complete

hey how much HP are you pushing now? and how much did this run you bc i wanna do the same thing

Great looking set up!! Were any transmission mod's required to handle the extra HP?

I will get the car dyno'd soon as there is still a bit of work needed in tuning.
I am keen to see the HP now as well
A new transmission was installed but no mods were required. We will see if this proves to be right.

Looks Great , Is that a TVS ? What size ?

The supercharger is a TVS Stage 2 Eaton with a custom ESS Tuning manifold
So far no faults showing. Need to still work on the tuning, not as smooth as I would like but plenty of grunt.

I can't wait to hear the supercharger. When do you plan on posting some videos????

I have had the car this week to "run it in" End of next week it goes back to the shop for any adjustments. At that time I will get it on the Dyno and post a video of that as well as tearing up , sorry, driving up the road. The guru of tuning here is in a small town about one hours drive away. We will see what additional magic he can perform.

Is the kit still being developed? I dont see it listed on ESS website. All they are offering is a chip good for 10-15hp. More details on this are needed.

I aswell have been wanting to supercharge my 7 n when i was at bimmerfest last year all companies there toll me that its in development they were having trouble with the soft whear to be able to program n they toll me cost would be around $6,000.00 n only 35hp. Shoot 50 shote noz 50hp for less then $500.00 but i do not want to go that route. So yes let us know how it comes out for u best of luck

Hey Giz where abouts in OZ are you located? Spent many years there a long time ago and know just how freaking expensive high end autos are there.

how did u get the supercharger from ess when they don't have it on their site? any help would b appreciated
