OEM water pump?
I ordered an OEM water pump for my 530i and noticed that it's made by Saleri. I've never heard of this brand before and couldn't find much info on it.
Visual comparison: old water pump has composite impeller that's stamped with "INA" & "Germany". New water pump also has a composite impeller with "Germany" and "WPB" stampings, but I noticed extra material towards the bottom of the water pump (see pic). Plus the box for the new water pump says it's Made in Italy. So what is it....Germany or Italy? Does anyone have experience with this water pump? Good or bad? ![]()

Someone else asked the same question a few months back on another forum but with no conclusion on quality. If it is really made in Italy, with a real German Impeller, i'd keep it. Better than any made in China pumps.
