1985 635 CSI about to pick up.. butttt

Hello,

I am about to pick up a 1985 635csi. He originally wanted 4900.00 now he wants 1800, due to a 19 year old barely tapping his tail light out. but I think he will easily go for 1400.00. Hopefully that is good. I like this car, if nothing else because it doesn't seem like the million other ones out there. Not sure what I am getting into so stop me before noon tomorrow

- The one concern I have is it drives great.. but when I floor it on the highway, It never goes above 3k rpms.. that doesn't seem right.. but the engine appears solid.. it does twitch everyonce and a while. nothing that worries me

- He had the front end redone.
- new tires
- no rust
- 4 door dings on divers side
- interior almost perfect.. needs a little cleaning slight tear in driver seat
- Auto
- Ac doesn't work, no suprise.
- All power windows work.
- drivers key lock doesn't work
- Inspection lights are lit but confirmed with mechanic that it has been done but the module that resets won't accept the reset commands (I think I said that right).

Here are the pics...

Did you buy it? Did you notice what size wheels and tries it has? I have one just like it, and I would like to know which wheels/tires fit, besides the original metric sizes. Thanks

That problem means that you need a new cat. converter. That is why you won't get over 3k revs, it's plugged.
Good Luck
