I remember when my older brother played Atari's Raiders of the Lost Ark for such a long period of time, that the game actually self destructed. Characters half formed, weird messages, background scenery that was deformed. It was pretty cool. When the game Simon came out, we thought it was da BOMB....something that lit up and made sounds was pretty cool. And YES, Ken, I loved Pong!!!!

I am just old enough to have had pong, an atari and colecovision!

I still say Mr. Do was one of the top games of all time.

My wife and I had an Intellivision II and a few games. PONG was one of them. We'd set it to the highest speed and ROFL because we were so bad at it. I loved the poker/blackjack, and Mouse Trap (I hated the auto racing game....SO lousy) but her big thing was Space Armada. She played that so much she wore out a controller. She got to the 18th level many times.

Weird. I've never heard of Mr. Do. We recently found a game DVD for PCs that has all the old Atari games on it. Now my daughter is into those oldies.

My sisters brake pedal is SUPER soft and you really have to mash on the peddle to actually get the car to slow down

and when i looked at her brake reservoir it barely had any fluid in it

Now my question is did the fluid go somewhere or are all 4 brakes bad?

And when you get the brakes to engage her pedal doesnt pulsate like it has bad rotors, so i guess theyre fine and she just needs pads?

Also if you mash the pedal hard enough one of the rear tire locks up (tire screeches)

okay the car is losing the fluid, im surprised you dont hear a high pitched noise that goes away when you press the brakes, there is air in the lines and maybe one of the brake lines are punctured

Idk Put fluid in it and see where it goes

Fill it up, and put cardboard underneath the car looking for leaks. Youre losing fluid somewhere. Could be just a blown seal on the caliper, or a hole in a brake line.

The only reason the one on my car is broken is because I started to remove the side trim last summer so I could dye it, but then after I broke the first clip, I quickly realized the others were going to do exactly the same thing, so I stopped in my tracks since I didn't have any replacement clips.

My dad had a 2000 Bonneville SSEi, same 3.8 s/c V6 in it, it was pretty quick and the exhaust note was nice, but the torque steer was inexcusable. You could feel the wheel yank to the side.

FWIW, Rover wiring is retarded. Had to pull a trailer this weekend and the trailer wiring wasn't in place yet. There's a factor connector behind the tail light, rectangular 8 pin. Rover sells a trailer wiring kit that plugs into the connector and provides a *European* 7-pin connector to hook to the trailer, but it's not the same as American 7 pins. Oh, and that retails for $255. And you still need a converter to American 7 pin. So I thought I'd splice in a quick 4 flat to the wires. Nope. Separate turn signal and brake light wires don't play nice with the trailer. Had to hunt down a converter for that too. It looks hella ghetto rigged behind the taillight.

and i disabled my sisters car so it wont start but she doesnt know it

brake fluid is dumping itself out the the rear driver side but before i noticed it heres what occured:

topped off fluid

started car pumped brakes

drove car down to end of my street (20 mph)

car is NOT slowing down (sis said this happened to her last night but she continued her route to the highway )

pull e-brake up immediately

car finally starts losing momentum

i breathe heavy and pull myself together ( it almost continued to the next street and the was a car coming )

she told me she was gonna drive to the mechanic which is not far approx 10mins or less. But little does she know her car wont start

and yes she is reckless lol

I would take a look at the brake before you bother bringing it to a mechanic. It should be pretty obvious if it's leaking that seriously.

what kiind of car, and why not fix it yourself??

i didnt think about that, i think cause it started to get on my nerves cause the front caliper wouldnt come off

CJ since you did this job a bunch of times how much of a PITA was it ?

Camshaft sensor was easier than the crankshaft sensor. Not that bad at all.

Why do you need to change it though? Is it your car's or your sister's?

Looks like it's at that coupling. If you want to know exactly, just fill it back up and have somebody pump the brakes while you're looking at it.

Woah! Some dude is selling me a HPF stage 2 turbo for $250! What do you guys think? Its just the turbo thoe. No piping, intercooler or anything.
